The server is yours, and so is root.
You keep root
You have full root access to your server and to the rdev container. We do not monitor root logins, and we never suspend a license because you use root.
Modified servers
rdev checks its own files, the managed agent settings and its images. If it finds changes, the server is marked as modified in the web panel:
- the server is no longer covered by support;
- your license continues, and everything keeps running;
- reinstalling the rdev components clears the mark.
Your network
Your Tailscale network belongs to your account, and we never join it. We do not connect to your server; your server starts every connection to us, and only for license checks and update downloads.
